AI-Powered Visual Exploration (Creative Concept / Visual Style Study)

Project Overview

This project was an exploratory motion and visual style study created for an early-stage branding concept. The goal was to experiment with how AI-generated imagery could be combined with typography, animation, and transitions to shape a distinct visual identity and motion language.

The project paused before full completion during an early-stage branding phase, but represents real client work and a professional exploration of AI-assisted design workflows.

Process & Exploration

Working directly with the cofounder on the branding side, I explored multiple visual directions using AI-generated imagery. Imagery was generated using a combination of client-provided prompts and my own prompt iterations to explore different moods, compositions, and visual metaphors.

I treated the project as a modular system rather than a single locked execution — focusing on how scenes could transition fluidly, how typography could anchor meaning, and how motion could unify otherwise disparate AI-generated visuals.

Motion, Typography & AI Workflow

I developed the typography system, motion behavior, and transitions, using animation to bring cohesion and intentionality to AI-generated visuals.

As the brand evolved during its early exploration phase, the work emphasized flexibility and rapid iteration — adjusting visuals, timing, and transitions to explore multiple creative directions.
The final output represents a focused slice of a broader visual study, intentionally scoped to explore visual direction and motion language.

My Role

  • Concept Exploration: Visual style and motion experimentation for an early-stage brand
  • AI Image Generation: Prompting and curation of AI-generated imagery
  • Typography & Motion Design: Defined type treatment, animation, and transitions
  • Iteration & Adaptation: Rapid visual adjustments in response to evolving brand direction

Outcome

Although the brand did not move forward, this project provided hands-on experience integrating AI-generated imagery into a professional motion design workflow. It demonstrates an exploratory mindset, comfort with emerging tools, and the ability to create cohesive motion systems from nontraditional visual inputs.

Key Takeaways

  • AI-generated imagery is most effective when paired with strong typographic and motion systems.
  • Designing for flexibility enables faster iteration in early-stage or evolving brand environments.
  • Motion can unify and elevate experimental visuals into a coherent design direction.
