Smartboost Hero Animation (Web Motion for Engagement)

Project Overview

Smartboost needed a visually compelling hero animation to anchor its website and immediately communicate innovation and momentum. 

The goal was to create an engaging motion-driven experience that enhanced the brand’s digital presence while remaining efficient to produce within a fast turnaround.

Process & Collaboration

I collaborated closely with Kevin Reilly from the Marketing team, who used AI tools to generate a series of striking visual concepts. These AI-generated images served as the foundation for the animation.

Building on these assets, I brought the visuals to life through motion design, enhancing depth, rhythm, and flow using both traditional animation techniques and AI-assisted motion workflows.

Challenges & Solutions

Challenge: Rapid Turnaround with Multiple Deliverables

The project required producing several videos and visual elements for the website within a one-week timeline, making efficiency and prioritization critical.

Solution: I utilized a flexible After Effects template to streamline production, allowing me to manage resources effectively while still giving focused attention to animation quality, pacing, and visual polish.
